Local Orpington Liberal Democrat Councillors Chris Maines, Grace Goodlad and Jenny Powell have called a public meeting to discuss plans for the redevelopment of the town's Station Road Multi Storey Car Park. The plans are about to be considered by Bromley Council and involve demolishing the existing car park, and replacing it with a large TESCO, a new health centre, 64 new homes and replacement car parking for 900 vehicles.
The local LibDem councillors have organised a public meeting on Wednesday 28th January at 8pm in the Liberal Hall, 7 Station Road (opposite the car park).
