Leader of the Liberal Democrats Sir Menzies Campbell MP joined local Liberal Democrat Campaigner Ben Abbotts on the campaign trail in Bromley and Chislehurst.
Sir Menzies and Ben visited Bromley Magistrates Court for a meeting with local Magistrates to discuss local crime and sentencing issues, before launching a crime survey for local businesses.
Sir Menzies and Ben then went on a walkabout in Bromley High Street.
Leader of the Liberal Democrats Sir Menzies Campbell MP said:
"My meeting with the Bromley Magistrates today was very useful. I was particularly interested to hear their perspectives on crime.
"It was also good to walk along Bromley High Street again, discussing important issues like crime and health with local people.
"The more time I spend in Bromley, the more I know that Ben Abbotts' local knowledge will make him an effective full-time MP and a leader of local efforts to tackle crime and anti-social behaviour."
Local Campaigner Liberal Democrat Campaigner Ben Abbotts said:
"I have spoken to a lot of local people who are understandably concerned about local levels of crime and the fear of crime.
"Today I have launched a survey for local business' to have their say on the fight against crime following on from our successful crime survey across the constituency."
