Liberal Democrat councillors and campaigners in Crystal Palace, Clockhouse and Penge & Cator have welcomed the new winnable Lewisham West and Penge Parliamentary constituency.
The Boundary Commissioner regularly reviews ward and parliamentary boundaries to ensure equality of electors. There are changes to all 6 seats in Bromley and Lewisham. At the next General Election, a new cross borough seat called Lewisham West and Penge, comprising the Lewisham wards of Bellingham, Forest Hill, Perry Vale and Sydenham and the Bromley wards of Clock House, Crystal Palace and Penge and Cator. This does NOT affect your borough residency. Those living in the three Bromley wards will continue to receive services from Bromley Council and the four Lewisham wards from Lewisham Council.

Crystal Palace councillor Chris Gaster says: "Residents in this part of the Borough have often said they would vote for the Liberal Democrats at a general election if they thought they have a chance of winning. Now you have! Based on how people voted in the recent elections in all 7 wards, Liberal Democrats won 7520 votes (35.5%), Labour 7004 (33.1%) and Conservatives 5336 (25.2%)."
