Local Lib Dem campaigner Anuja Prashar says local police cuts should be abandoned
The Liberal Democrats are calling on the police to reverse their decision to withdraw the Safer Neighbourhood Team sergeant from Shortlands.
Shortlands is due to share a sergeant with Copers Cope, which will greatly weaken their capacity to deliver community policing on the ground.
Local Liberal Democrat campaigner Anuja Prashar, said "The decision to withdraw the sergeant from five wards in Bromley, including Shortlands, is a dangerous step.
"Recent events have shown that our local streets need to be kept safe and policing levels maintained."
