Anuja Prashar says; "By creating a charitable trust to run the libraries, over £370,000 could be saved - enough to keep our threatened libraries open."
Local Liberal Democrat campaigner Anuja Prashar is calling on Bromley Council to Save Shortlands Library.
Hundreds of local people are angry after four local Conservative Councillors penned a report identifying Shortlands as one of eight local libraries to close. To add insult to injury the authors of the report did not identify any of the Libraries in the areas they represent as being at risk.
The local Liberal Democrats have proposed a plan that will save all eight Libraries
