Lib Dem Councillor Will Connolly was proud to join the opening of the new One Bromley Wellbeing Hub in The Glades, alongside the Council, NHS, and voluntary sector staff and partners that helped to make this new service offering happen.

The hub, located in The Glades (upper mall, opposite M&S) and previously used for COVID and flu vaccinations, is now offering free health services and information for Bromley residents, including health checks, ‘Vital 5’ checks, and signposting to other services for Bromley Well and Citizen Advice.

The One Bromley Wellbeing hub is your one-stop shop for health and lifestyle support and information in Bromley. The Hub is provided by the One Bromley Local Care Partnership, made up of a range of health, care and voluntary organisations working together in Bromley, working in partnership with My Time Active. You can visit the hub from Tuesday to Saturday, 10.30am to 6.30pm.

Councillor Will Connolly adds, “this is a brilliant new service and space for residents to get more access to health & wellbeing advice and services, at a time when there are issues with GP access in some locations, and a prevalence of long-term mental health issues for many of our vulnerable residents”.

A range of services are on offer in the Hub to help reduce the five leading causes of poor health in Bromley. These services will focus on interventions and advice to support the management of:

  • Blood pressure

  • Smoking Cessation

  • Alcohol use

  • Common mental health problems

  • Healthy Eating and Weight management.
