Julie Ireland for Bromley and Biggin Hill
Your Parliamentary Candidate
Julie Ireland is proud to be standing to represent Bromley & Biggin Hill in the 2024 General Election. She has lived in Bromley for over 30 years and raised her two children here. Elected as a councillor for Bromley Town in 2022, Julie is well known locally as a strong voice for the community, leading campaigns for improved air quality, safer roads, affordable housing and making sure that people without online access are not excluded from public services.
Nationally Julie is deeply concerned by the state of our public services. After recently experiencing a serious health scare, she witnessed first-hand the very real strain on A&E departments as well as the dedication of the NHS staff who treated her. She is passionate about improving healthcare and making sure that everyone has access to the high quality treatment they deserve.
Julie cares deeply about the local community and would seek to give voice to those who may otherwise struggle to be heard. As a Liberal Democrat she is campaigning for a fair deal to empower communities and put residents first.
Vote for Julie on 4 July to elect a strong local champion for Bromley & Biggin Hill.
Julie's Priorities for Bromley and Biggin Hill
- Improved access to GPs, dentists and NHS services.
- Increasing the number of local police officers to respond to residents who are impacted by crime, to tackle organised crime, and to keep our town centres safe.
- Increasing affordable housing - we need more homes, but cannot give free licence to developers to build more and more tall blocks of flats at unaffordable prices.
- Improving public transport, especially walking and cycling routes and electric car charging to reduce congestion and air pollution.
